I've been making the book talk rounds of late, and this is one of the pictures I like to show of Mouse (the leading man in the story) and the basic materials he's made of: wool felt, cotton, pipe cleaners, black glass beads, and nylon thread (for whiskers).
wow! I always thought your little mice were needle felted. That's amazing that you sew these wee mice. I love the way they look.
ReplyDeleteWell, I have also thought that your mice was felted...Yes it is really amazing sewing art that You do when making them!
ReplyDeleteWhen you look at the materials it is hard to imagine that such adorable creatures are created that way. They are clearly born out of pure talent.
ReplyDeleteI was imagining it incorrectly too! That's why you're an artist. You can take materials and do something with them that not just anyone could do! I'm very impressed! :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a priceless photo! You're giving away all his "inside secrets"!
ReplyDeleteThose basic materials and lots and lots of talent make these wonderful mouses with so much expression. You have so much talent!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend.
