Goodbye


One of my greatest treasures...a postcard from Maurice Sendak.  I wrote him an ardent fan letter, and he was kind enough to reply.  An artist and a mensch.

  8. How wonderful to have such a treasure. He was an artist "before his time" but I am so glad that the world realized it before his passing so he got a chance to see that he was loved & admired.
