I am pondering this photo, wondering in what way this little mouse is being uncooperative. Is he refusing to give his auntie a kiss? refusing to get in the car for an outing to the museum? refusing to eat his broccoli? not going to bed? refusing to visit the potty (my own 4 year old is often uncooperative in this way).
I'd love to know your back-story on this one!! cheers mb
Adorable! I was thinking maybe there was a tiff between him and the little one with the blue shirt and red pants, noticing the way he has his hands on his hips. Well, Maggie knows.
Such a lovely scene, his expression his just fabulous. Also love mama sitting on the peg slightly in the background, tells me the persuasion process has been going on for some time. He looks like a stubborn little man, can't not love him :) Pam
This is genius! The little mouse's grumpy face is too cute! It says it all really. I have a little baby girl about 19 months. She is starting her Terrible Two early and she has the exact same expression when she is not in a good mood!
Dear Maggie, I am loving following your blog. Your view into your mouse-world is genius. The letter for wallpaper; the peg for a bench... never mind the astounding expressiveness of the figures. I wait for each new installment with child-like excitement.

I think he just DOESN'T WANT to do what everyone else does. I used to have a recalcitrant 4 year old myself!
