She looks determined to me. Determined and hopeful and apprehensive, like any young lady leaving on a trip alone would. I wonder if she's heading to school or maybe her next place of employment.
There's a charming place in my home country (England) called Mousehole, in West Cornwall . It's been a small fishing village by the sea since 1266. Ms. Mouse might choose from a number of holiday cottages with names such as Bramble Cottage, Fern, or Rosemerryn, and take tea by a cosy fire while reading a book, (perhaps the children's book The Mousehole Cat) or write a few postcards to everyone back home... I think she is waiting for the bus to take her on a wonderful holiday. She is going to visit her sister, and is thinking of all the things they will talk about.
Your little mice must be among the cutest things on the internet! I love her pink pinafore and the little yellow suitcase, complete with tiny travel decals.
I hope her ride shows up soon. She looks a little worried.
