Mouse Houses is the best thing that has happened to me in months, Maggie. Thank you so much for sharing these on the Internet. I like this one because it reminds me of Emily Dickinson. I don't know why. But I think she would probably have had a pet bee if she were a mouse. The bee is extraordinary... how did you get him to fly?
i really love the lighting on this, mags. you've gotten a handle on your camera, and your imagery reflects it. i guess what i'm sayin' is that you totally rule.
Thanks Sophie! I can see Ms. Dickinson with a bee..a deadly sting cloaked in soft fuzz. The bee in the picture is deceased and conveniently died in that pose
Sally, I wish I could say that I've figured out the photo stuff, but I think the secret is to photograph it outside and let God do the lighting....But thanks for sayin' I rule!
I have just found Mouseland via the blog Something. I love your little mousey world! All the scenes you creat are amazing. I love mice in a jar and particularly mice on a tray!
You take amazing photos- and the pictures are all adorable! Thank you so much for posting them, I can't wait to show my best friend (she absolutely loves mice) thank you so much!
How do I find the book? Are the mice for sale yet?
Mice aren't for sale yet! But books can be found at your local bookstore, or click on the cover images on left.
...I mean, on the right!
